Gray Skies and Random Notes

Good Lord but that was a long week! And now it's Saturday and, although I don't know what it says about my personality, I love days like this. Snow and rain and gray, heavy clouds. I can hear Leo laughing upstairs, Owen is playing  his twelve string, Ernie's picking up food for me to put in the oven and cook all day. Yes, that is a Cynthia kind of day. And now some random pictures:

1. My shopping list. Ernie does complain that it's getting heard to find the actual food items. The reason it's called Real Grocery List is because the old Grocery List got too many entries, like these, of things I hear that I like. I guess we'll have to start a real one called Really Real Grocery List. The first three were uttered by Owen, the second three were Ernie and me going back and forth to each other, and the last one needs no explanation (although I've obviously got some kind of bad karma going on as I can't go because of work. I have told Ernie and Owen that if I don't get a picture of Owen with Marty, or Kenny Vaughn...or Harry Stinson....or hell, Chris Scruggs is playing with Marty these days, isn't he?.... well, heads will roll)

2. Ernie was playing me 45s. He always knows how to make me smile.

3. The Golden Grooves Collection kind of amused me.

4. It was right after this video that Owen uttered, "You guys must have been fun when you were younger."

5. Owen sometimes drives me to work now. I really like it.
