Valentine's Day, 1981. We'd been going out about a month. Ernie gave me a pink tulip and an antique heart shaped opal necklace. Then Milktoast played in downtown Champaign. I was in LOVE. I know the Vertebrats played----but there were other bands too. Did you play that night Jon?? I'm getting it confused with bands that played there on the previous Halloween....
