Persimmon???

So does anyone know what the story is about Persimmon closing? Is Bacaro following suit? I must admit that Bacaro is too expensive for me but I like the IDEA of a high quality restaurant in town. How's that for supporting a business?? And I must admit that other than an occasional sandwich, most often when we go into Persimmon it's to buy a ringpop for the guys. Just the same I'd be sad to see it go. What's the story local people?
