SNOW!
Ernie woke me up this morning and I immediately asked in a sleepy voice, "is there snow" and when he said no I moaned in protest. However about ten minutes later it hit and actually made for an interesting drive to work. It looks as though it has tapered off now but look at what greeted me when I got to work:
Well, we were supposed to go on a tour of an assisted living place this afternoon but my folks didn't want to go out in the snow and I don't blame them----the last thing we need is a fall. So we'll probably have to postpone two weeks as next Friday afternoon is Leo's holiday program (maybe he'll even open his mouth and sing with his class this year instead of standing there frozen, grumpy and mute) and then our holiday party is that evening. Oh---and our new couch is supposed to be delivered the day of our party and they deliver until 7:00 at night and the party starts at 5:30. hmmmmm. I can't wait even though my sister informed me she didn't like my color choice for the couch (I love you Judi).
