45 one upmanship

When I first started seeing Ernie in early 1981 I felt very smug because I had the import 45 of this song (cool heavy black matte paper---the notes were raised and glossy) and he had the American single....mine was MUCH cooler.

It was the only time I ever beat him in terms of cool records.....

(although I have more Ian Hunter....HA)
