Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1.  I'm off tomorrow morning to Atlanta for Judi's surgery.  I decided to drive.  Everyone kept telling me I should fly but you know what?  I don't want to.  I don't mind flying but I guess I like having the control and freedom of driving and even while on the highways I like seeing the country. So I looked up a few landmarks around Atlanta.....probably won't manage it but one never knows....

2.  Words I never thought I'd hear in my house:  "keep your pizza away from my butt" 

3. I couldn't sleep last night.  I kept waking and having odd dreams.  I dreamed I won on Jeopardy with a question about Mott the Hoople.  My subconscious must have liked the dream because I kept re-dreaming it.  Sometimes it would be "What is The Hoople, Brain Capers and Wildlife? or sometimes "What is All the Young Dudes?" and then I would add an aside to Alex "but really, I like their originals better....".  Once there was an entire Mott the Hoople category and I just whizzed through it.....  "Who is Ariel Bender?"  "What is a Maltese Cross?" "Who are the New York Dolls?" "Who is Ian Patterson?"
