Ernie's Club Twang

Don mentioned that I should post pictures of shows at Ernie's Club Twang. It was the performance stage, named after something Ernie had come up with, in the defunct Periscope Records---in the now destroyed Metropolitan Building.....  I don't seem to have any pictures though.  The only thing I have is a picture of  the Dead Reckoners----there's Ernie with all that hair looking cute (and YOUNGER I might note), then Tammy Rogers, Fats Kaplin, Alison Prestwood I believe, then Kieran Kane....and then three of the more charming men in life in the front row----Harry Stinson, Mike Henderson and Kevin Welch.  Well...oops....that's not saying the back row isn't charming too....

You'd think I'd have more pictures but that was before I had kids so I hadn't gotten used to photodocumenting everything!  Of course we weren't at those shows for some of the years as Ernie had gotten off the rollercoaster of working for Cody.  There were some great shows though----although being Cynthia....I have to say the ones that blew me away were the Dead Reckoners....

Now that I think about it....I do have one other picture.....not of a show---just the picture after....  Ernie in one of his classic frozen face photos (God, I love that man), a tiny Kate Campbell, the aforementioned Cody and Tom Sheehan.  Hell, he looks young too!  Geesh.
