Random Notes from the Sandwich Life and Halloween

1.  You know those strands of orange Halloween lights?  I'm not so sure about them.

2.  Last week when I got ready to go to Krannert Center for a work thing I felt I had to give in and put on heels.  Normally I stick to my black crocs or purple birkenstocks because, yeah, that's just where I am in life....  So when I came downstairs dressed in my standard long skirt but with heels, Owen gasped and said, "Mom, look at your shoes!"  I said, "yeah, I have to wear these today."  He paused, looked me up and down thoughtfully and then pronounced, "Mom, when you wear heels.....you look YOUNGER."  All I could do was thank him....

3.  Here is a shot of the pumpkins.  You guess which one is Owen's and which one is Leo's.

4.  Most people seemed suitably impressed with the boys' Halloween costumes.  One person however, upon seeing Leo walk up to their door inquired, "which one are you?  John, Paul, George or Ringo?"

5. And in the biggest news of all.....the Millenium Falcon is FINISHED!!!!
