Random Notes on Pillbones and more.....

1.  Yesterday Owen said to me, while lying on his back on the floor trying to avoid getting ready for school, "do you know what Pillbones are?"  I replied that I didn't so he explained, "they came from England on ships a long time ago and met an Indian who told them how to hunt fish and plant corn."  Ohhhhh..... THOSE Pillbones....

2. Judi and I saw Dr. Graham yesterday.....still don't have an answer re: the pockets of fluid in her---they show up in her September CAT scan, although not as large,  but they don't appear to be cancerous so we're going to leave them be for now.  She's going to start Tarceva which is a chemo drug used for advanced pancreatic cancer but at least....it is a PILL so no sitting in the chemo room for hours.....

3.  Still trying to sort out insurance issues but I think things will work.

4.  I have to go to work this afternoon.....whine.....

5.  We're having our own economic crisis....just in time for the holidays....how nice.  Time to pull some things out for ebay.  Anybody want to buy a 1909 Daniel Burnham Plan of Chicago?
