Judi Update

Judi, Ernie and I just saw Dr. Graham.  I wasn't going to go but I didn't have a good feeling about it. 

Evidently the Tarceva is not working for her.  They discussed other options but they did not seem realistic given her response to chemo. 

She will go into the hospice program.

We knew this would happen, we just didn't know when.

She told me I needed to think about whether she should go into a nursing home.  HA.  I told her that if for some reason we are not able to physically care for her and there wasn't another option then yes....but I want with all my heart for her to be with us, in our house, until the very end.

Owen's birthday party is tomorrow.  We are not prepared at all.
