Worn Up, Wound Out and Scenes of Champaign

I can't even begin to describe what last night was like.  Maybe you don't even want to know.  Maybe this blog has become like the accident you can't look away from.  Look away! Look away!  No...please don't....

sigh.

It was a mashed up combination of cooking dinner, giving pills, sitting by the bed, upsetting emails, things breaking, children screaming, noses bleeding.  I finally took a couple of my sister's Vicodin with a glass of wine but it still didn't calm me down.  Worn out.  Wound up.  Or maybe worn up and wound out.  I don't know.

On a brighter note the digital collection of Champaign Urbana Built Environment that Mel directed me too is AMAZING.  Ernie and I haven't been able to tear ourselves away from it.  The rights info says it's o.k. for personal or educational use.  I emailed them to see if I could post them here but have gotten no response and since this blog feels pretty damn personal to me I'm going to post a couple.

First up----the Neil Street mall with Moy's Tea Garden on the left!

Then a few of Main Street with my beloved Vriner's

and one last one of Green Street that I couldn't resist
