Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1.  Am I holding it together?  Well.....debatable.  I was utterly exhausted yesterday but couldn't go to sleep until 2:00 in the morning because I just kept crying.  Laying next to Ernie in bed with Owen sandwiched between us and trying to cry silently.  So I finally got up, had a tumbler of Jameson's, watched youtube videos for awhile until I was so exhausted that I slept.

2.  Second questionable activity?  I sent Owen to a birthday party on the wrong day.  Whoops. Luckily it wasn't Leo (he explained to me that he doesn't DO parties) as his head would have imploded.  Instead Owen just cheerfully noted that he was glad to be the first one to give Parker a present....

3.  I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow.  Shouldn't we get an allotted number of stress days?  So I could just call in and say, "sorry, I'm too stressed to come into work today."  Personally I like the idea....although I imagine I would have already gone through my allotment....

4.  I love fog.

5.  My amaryllis are blooming.....

6.  But look what I found in my late night youtube adventures.  Three quarters of my beloved Kane Welch Kaplin on the Billy Block Show. Kieran looks so wonderfully unamused by the introduction.  That dry 'thank you Billy' just cracked me up.  I always kind of think I'd like to have subtitles of what's really going through his mind.  And I might note that Billy Block doesn't seem to look as much like George Washington as he did when we saw him in Nashville a year or so ago.....
