Dinner with a Couple of Silver Linings

Leo showing his impeccable timing yet again as he blocks his face from what would have been a perfectly nice picture of our friend Berni and him.  Just the same...look closely...it's LEO sitting right next to an adult chatting....yup....it was about Lego but just the same.....  All three of my boys seem to adore Berni---well I guess the whole family does actually....

Last night was one of those affirming evenings.  Old friends, shared experiences, food and drink and lots of chat about Lego and music....  Life's paths are so damn odd....if Kenny, Paul and Pat hadn't come down to play some music for us last spring we wouldn't have reconnected with Berni and Wendy....and of course Kenny and co. wouldn't have come down to cheer us up if we hadn't been hit with some bad news....but see?  Here's one of our silver linings.....

(Leo took a picture of all of us but Wendy was the only one that looked good in it and when I cropped everybody else out the resolution was too low....sorry Wendy.....)

So Happy Passover and Happy Easter.....drink a toast to silver linings this weekend for me......
