The Case of the Wonderful Brother-in-law....

As I have said in this space other times, I have been very blessed with my in-laws.   Some, I know, are not so fortunate.  My BIL Dennis is like Judi in some ways----the middle child, smart and funny, with an uncanny knack for gifts.  After my father died last year he offered to buy a dogwood tree for our yard in memory of him.  Judi really loved the idea---as did I---I was thrilled.  Of course, given the year, I never managed to get it together to pick one out.

Yesterday Dennis and I went to the nursery and he bought two dogwoods for us----a white one for my father and a pink one (of COURSE) for Judi.  I am beyond touched by this.  I hope Dennis knows how much it means to me. 

He's even paying for them to be delivered and planted....I can't wait.
