The Rain and the Texas Tornados

It really rained last night.  Hard. 

I've been driving Judi's Honda which I love.  My first car was a Honda and the only new car that Ernie and I ever purchased new (and probably ever will) was a Honda so I kinda think of myself as a Honda girl.  My other Hondas were pretty basic.

Judi's has a sunroof.

Yup.

I'm just not used to it and er, sometimes I forget to close it.

Remember how Ernie was all nonchalant about me messing up a cd because, as he said, "it's not a RECORD Cynthia?"

Well, I guess that doesn't hold true if it's a Texas Tornados cd.....

He did relent a bit and say, "well, at least it's not signed."  Which leads me to the thought that the Tornados are way up there on my list of bands I wish I had seen.  Man, I love them and Doug Sahm....well, hey.....here's an entertaining interview clip with Freddy Fender and Doug Sahm in Holland and then (Hey Baby) Que Paso and of course then Sir Douglas Quintet's Mendocino....

So watch....and then tell me what band you wish you had seen---and now it's just too late.....
