Damn Storm......geesh.....

I was at work this morning watching the incredible winds and black sky when I heard my phone ringing at my desk.  I missed it but figured it was Ernie calling to check on us so I called back.  Owen immediately insisted on getting on the phone and from the high, anxious sound of his voice I knew he was scared.  He assured me that he had Mr. Monkey and Spiderman with him....oh, and his father.....but also told me that part of a maple tree in our yard had come down.

Geesh.

If you'll remember we lost a lot of tree in our front yard last fall.....now a big maple in our back/side yard....  It had three main trunks and one of them came down.  The trunk is pretty much torn open though so I'm not sure if the tree will be able to survive......and it's pretty damn tall.....it will cost a fortune to take down......  Always something, huh?

Oh....and one of my pretty new little faux wicker chairs that I love so much got semi-crushed....
