Don't Think About It Baby.....
1. The downstairs toilet is broken.....we need to call a plumber.
2. Yesterday Ernie spent time at my mother's fixing her wheelchair (he called it a bicycle by mistake later when he was talking to me----cracked me up) then she asked me to come by after work because she was worried her meter wasn't working (it was) and then she called at 9:45 because she couldn't get into bed. Ernie went over and helped her. I just closed my eyes.
3. Matt changed the title of his blog to Vertebrats 1979-2009. Go ahead, break my heart Matt.
4. It's raining.....and supposed to rain all day. Gee, maybe we'll get water in the basement....
5. My knee still hurts like hell. I saw the ortho nurse practictioner on September 23rd. I was supposed to have a month of physical therapy and go back and see her on October 25th. After multiple phone calls (mine, not theirs) I FINALLY have a therapy appointment for October 26----the day after my follow up appointment. Gee thanks.
6. It's raining....or did I say that.
7. I have to go to work when all I want to do is crawl back into bed.
8. Yesterday was the 8 month anniversary of Judi's death.
9. Bleh.
10. Yesterday I was driving behind someone from my neighborhood and he not only went through a stopsign (o.k., o.k., yes I got pulled over for that recently) but he had a bumper sticker that said "Somewhere in Kenya a Village is Missing its Idiot."
11. Bleh again.
HOWEVER:
1a. At least we HAVE a second bathroom....
7a. At least I HAVE a job.....
12. Leo is feeling better and went back to school....
AND Pete put up the second Milktoast song on youtube. I'm anxiously awaiting Teacher, Teacher myself....oh, and might I mention that when you look at the statistics for the first Milktoast video it shows it being most popular between 13 and 17 year old boys???? Can they actually sense how old you guys actually feel?
And of course in tribute to the title of this post....the Vertebrats reminding me not to think about it....thanks guys....I won't.....
