Random Random Random Notes and Pictures from the Sandwich Life

1.  Oh good lord I just LOVE starting the day with a call from the nursing home to discuss issues about my mother's home care worker.  Aye yi yi.....  The only good thing about it all is that I dumped it on my sister Debbie to deal with it.  Woo-hoooooo sisters!

2.  I visited my mother last night and she seemed pretty damn perky.  It's crazy....one moment Debbie and I are planning her funeral and the next she seems like well....Mom.  It's really hard to know what to think and I know that means I just have to take it day by day but hell....sometimes---foolishly----you want to know WHAT the future holds.  You'd think I'd know better.....

3.  Tried to do some Christmas shopping last night.  Why is it that everything seems to cost $100?  I guess it doesn't all but geesh.....

4.  Have I mentioned I'm a really bad shopper?  I started getting stressed out and losing my mind in Target and finally said ABORT MISSION....let's buy what's in the cart and get the hell out of here....  Of course part of the problem is that I worked all day, then went to the nursing home to visit my mother, got home and discussed the situation with my sister, hugged the guys and THEN headed off in the rain, first stopping back at the nursing home to drop off something for my mother.....ugh.....AND we even missed David Olney on Ustream last night....so I started somewhat behind the something or other.....

 

5.  If we're going to get snow I wish we'd REALLY get snow.  Now, now, calm down......I know my sentiments aren't shared by all....

  

 

  

6.  The week is going by awfully fast....I hate to think of Debbie going back to Boston....it's such a relief to have her here.....  and that's all I've got today I'm afraid.....
