Very Brief Random Notes.....

1.  Good lord but I've been frazzled and busy.  If you are coming (hopefully) to our party tomorrow night you will find the our yard not decorated as planned, our house not decorated as planned but you will find us, WITH my sister Debbie, the guys, some cassoulet (to be made tonight), and the wonderful music of Kristi Rose and Fats Kaplin.  I hope you (that's you if you're reading this)  join us....just email for directions/info......

2.  In, uh....other news, my mother is back in the hospital.  I went to the nursing home Tuesday evening after work and found her not in great shape....off to the emergency room.....admitted later that night.....kidneys, heart, UTI, etc.  She's doing o.k....I mean the woman is TOUGH.  I waffled about canceling the party but she's o.k. and frankly I'll relax more with her in the hospital than in the nursing home....and Debbie is here thank God....

3.  O.k.....here's one of the classics.....Slade doing Merry Christmas Everybody.......I love this because it's got some melancholy in it (well, to me anyway).....
