Random Notes from a Moderately Grumpy Sandwich

1.  Good lord but I have nothing for you today.  Let's see....

2.  It's dreary.

3.  Owen headed back to school although he did start out trying to convince me he was still sick.

4.  We made it through the night without any phone calls/paramedics at my mother's house.

5.  There was an accident with a basketball and the Millennium Falcon yesterday evening but Leo has recovered from the tragedy somewhat.  Repairs to begin over the weekend.

6.  My mother's homecare worker is going to start working more hours and as soon as her other client dies she can do even more.  Yeah, I know.  I sighed too.

7.  Ernie made an amazing roast pork with fennel seeds, garlic and red pepper flakes.  It might be a recipe for the David Olney potluck because you know what?  You can feed a lot of people with a cheap cut of pork.  Words to live by.

8.  So now that the University has said we can take a pay cut instead of furlough days where does that leave those of us who say, 'if you're not going to pay me there's no freaking way I'm working?'  Well, it leaves us looking as though we're the kind of people that say "if you're not going to pay me there no freaking way I'm working."  Win-win....yeah, thanks.

9.  A year ago Judi was dying.  I miss her so.  Here she is on her 50th birthday with her dear friends Nancy on the left and Liana in the middle.  She looks beautiful and happy doesn't she?

11.  Hey, can anyone convince Adam Schmitt to come to our David Olney party?  It would make Owen SO happy.

12.  By the way....I keep raving about David Olney being wonderful but I haven't said nearly enough about the amazing Sergio Webb.  You like guitar?  Then come.
