The Pea

Since Ernie was out of town I took some time off work to go to Leo's Science Fair presentation.  Good Lord...my heart just breaks with love sometimes when I watch him.

I know he was anxious...he is my boy after all.  For each presentation he would first tug on his sleeves and then nervously crack his knuckles before starting.  Finally I realized I was just standing there admiring him so I tried to obediently look at other presentations too.  He had his little mp3 player tucked behind it in case he had a break. 

Here he is giving his presentation--on whether nails or screws hold wood more tightly--to my friend Mary.  And by the way his hypothesis was proven correct....screws do.  That's my boy.  My little curmudgeon.
