Fighting That Cloud and the Lego Cantina

I have to meet with our lawyer to finally go about settling Judi's estate this afternoon.  I just couldn't force myself to get the papers together last night so I have driven myself insane and taken a few years off my life scrambling this morning and I don't think I have everything I need.  I'll just go with what I have and it will get sorted out somehow.  I just could NOT force myself to dive into the boxes of paperwork last night.  I just couldn't do it.  And this morning, as I go through everything I am just overwhelmed by all the paperwork that accumulates when you are going through death and dying.  Wills, power of attorney forms, healthcare forms, insurance forms, death certificates....on and on and on..  And as I went through the stacks I just felt that cloud settle over me.  I know I have to shake it off.  We're through it, through it, through it.  Eugh.

Three people gone and I'm left with these plastic tubs of paperwork just siting in our house.

Ernie and I will go see the attorney this afternoon and then maybe I'll have a glass of wine and go take a shower or go look at my seedlings in the garden....I'll do something to wash that cloud off....

On a brighter note, here's the most recent version of the Lego cantina.  That's a working vending machine in the back by the by....
