St. Louis Recommendations Please!

O.k....we are spending Thursday (ERNIE'S BIRTHDAY!) and Friday in St. Louis, coming back on Saturday.  No particular reason....just to celebrate Ernie's birthday and the end of the school year and hopefully enjoy each other.

SO....I am looking for a place to eat lunch on Thursday...it must have the BEST, or near best french fries in St. Louis.  It needs to serve cheap chardonnay---the beer can be cheap or expensive.  Lemonade a plus but not necessary.  As long as Leo is happy with good french fries the rest of us will make do.  Suggestions?

Record store to buy a couple of new things (Raw Power new thing, maybe that Tom Petty live box that he's wanted ) for the birthday boy.  Suggestions?

I know we'll hit the City Museum....and possibly Ted Drewe's.....other suggestions?
