Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1.  Feeling much better today. Leo's going to school today as well.  He doesn't feel great but he's much better.  He told me he felt fine when I asked (even though he doesn't).  Owen, on the other hand, raced up the stairs to get me up and chatted away---but when I asked how he felt his demeanor quickly changed and he said, "ohhhhh, well, my stomach hurts and I have a bit of a headache."  And when all I did was nod he added, "and I feel REALLY weak" and draped himself against the wall.  I tried not to giggle and he raced downstairs.

2.  I tried watching Glee again.  Nope.

3.  Instead Ernie and I spent a chunk of the evening watching Jason and the Scorchers videos on youtube.  They are playing in Bloomington (GOOD) but Ernie will be out of town (BAD).  Owen has offered to go with me.  I'm not quite sure but I bought two tickets last night because it's FREAKING JASON AND THE  SCORCHERS.  Here they are in 1986----right about when we saw them at Harpo's in Detroit.  Incredible show.  Man I loved Harpo's. 

4.  And here they are a couple of years ago.....

5.  Ernie came in the kitchen last night after putting the chicken on the grill and asked for the camera...he's seen overgrown okra in Dave's garden and wanted to take a picture of it.  Man I love my husband.  Oh, and he gets credit for the butterfly picture as well.

6.  I swear I had more to say but my mind....well, this is what my mind does these days.....
