Random, Random, Random....cause that's all my brain will do today....

1.  Friday, Friday, Friday.....  It's been an incredibly long week and yet I have so much to do I don't want it to be over.  And my mind is so scattered that I don't know if I have any writing in me.  Well, my writing is often pretty scattered as well so perhaps that doesn't matter. 

2.  The other day when I came to work there was frost on the grass....and yet I haven't even hysterically cut my basil down.  What's wrong with me?  Perhaps it's because I was so lousy at keeping my basil deadheaded this year that they're not the most impressive of plants.  I hope it's still o.k. as I plan to use it on some appetizers for Van's memorial tomorrow night at Amara.

3.  Ernie and I are really fond of these Lustron houses and just found out a friend of ours lived in one.  Ernie has started going for walks every morning after we're all out of the house and this is one that he passed the other morning. 

4.  I love this Amy Rigby song and it's been stuck in my head of late.....  Listen to the words, particularly if you're a woman of 35 or 40+.......she's such an wonderful writer....
