Merry Christmas from Debbie, Judy and Cindy!

My father worked for Allstate for awhile when I was young, before all the neurosurgeries.  Of course they managed to get rid of him after multiple neurosurgeries but after that he opened his own law practice which was his true love.  Anyway, all I remember of Allstate is that we would get the Sear's Christmas catalogue and of course that was fertile ground for Christmas list after Christmas list....

And although I don't remember this, evidently we took part in some kind of Allstate children's Christmas coloring contest.  Every so often these would show up as we unpacked Christmas things and my parents  and I would giggle and giggle.  Evidently there weren't that many entries by two year olds.  Then my mother would try to defend my drawing and say, "but look, there are faces there, that's very good for two."  Only a mother.... 

Here's is Debbie's entry.  I was always impressed with her artistic skills when I was a little girl.....and yet she only got a measly Honorable Mention....

Judy did a bit better, snagging Fourth Place....

But the BABY of the family came away with a FIRST PLACE!!!  Yay me!
