Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1.  Leo is still sleeping even though it's well after 7:00 a.m.  As he and Owen explained to me, they are planning to try to sleep a lot this week in order to make it go by faster.  Owen told me he might even be sleeping through dinner sometimes (HA HA HA).  I salute them for their ingenious efforts to make Christmas come sooner....

2.  I hear tell there's going to be a VERTEBRATS VINYL GREATEST HITS!!  Or as we used to say.....a RECORD!!!  Woo-hooooo!  Thank you for the very good news Matt.  AND we get to see a Vertebrats subset, as he put it, open for the Martyrs at the Highdive in January.  What a wonderful treat to have waiting for us in the long days of January.....

3.  And Jody sent me a link to the sad news that Vriners are making their candy canes in Florida.  O.k., o.k., it's not really sad news---I'm glad they are still being made....but I'm sad to not have them here where they belong....sigh.  Thanks Jody. 

4.  Ernie and I had this agreement about no Christmas gifts-----the Christmas party was enough of a gift.  Then he started smirking yesterday.  DAMN him!  He's got something for me.  Now what?
