Savoring

This is the first Christmas season in a long time that I can just focus on the boys and the season.  I almost don't know what to do with myself!  This weekend all we have planned is going to look at Christmas lights (Candlestick Lane of course....other recommendations?  How are the lights at that park in Danville???  Any big displays we should?) on Saturday evening....some baking tomorrow morning, guitar lesson for Owen and lunch for us all, a Christmas movie or two and wrapping some presents---maybe a little shopping for a few more presents....  It feels positively indulgent and I am savoring it.

Last night Owen wrapped his Christmas present for Leo.  The tag says "from your brother, Owen." He's VERY excited about....as is Leo.  Leo goes shopping for Owen's present sometime this weekend.  I'm assuming the tops of their heads won't blow off with excitement and anticipation but no guarantees.....no guarantees.....

Are the Vriner's doing candy canes anywhere this year?  I've poked around online but not found anything.  Anybody know????  Anything else Christmasy we should do this weekend?

My most beloved Uncle Mistletoe ornament....he's very frail but he's hanging on.  Whoops....bad pun.
