Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

Well, of course you KNOW I didn't manage to stay up to see Justin Townes Earle on Letterman last night.  Somehow knowing you can see it the next morning on YouTube takes the urgency out of it, doesn't it?  Well, it's LOVELY way to start the morning.  This album is one of those that almost sounded familiar when I first listened to it----not that it sounds like something I've heard but it just sounds like it must have been written before.  I can't wait to see him next month!

2.  In a strange turn of events, Leo is actually allowing Owen to walk to school with him.  When Owen says "WAIT Leo" as he always does because he's always running late......Leo actually waits.  I want to query him as I'm fascinated but I don't want to upset any delicate balance so I will leave it alone.

3.  Miss Hattie puts up with her son Bob chasing her and attacking her but every so often she just wallops that boy of hers into shape and it always makes me feel good.  Go Hattie go!

4.  I'm REALLY enjoying hearing the answers to my parenting questions re: phones/games etc.  Please keep them coming.  It's really, really helpful to hear how other people approach it.  Thanks to everybody that's been posting!!
