Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1.  My poor husband has one of those once in a decade horrible colds that is so miserable all he can do is droop around the house clutching a roll of toilet paper (we're so high class) and a trash bag.  Then to top it off he woke up with a fever yesterday.  This is very rare as Ernie doesn't gt sick too often.  The boys say he's invincible.  I guess my poor sweet pea isn't invincible after all....

2.  I think if I were going to play at the Great Cover Up  I'd be Cameo and do Alligator Woman.  Man, I don't know why that song is stuck in my head of late but I do love it.  It used to be on the jukebox at Raffaele's, the bar in the corner of the Metropolitan building back in the early 80's.  I would play it EVERY time I was there.

4.  I'm glad I'll get to hear some music this weekend....I could really use it.  I just watched this Chuck Mead video though and it cheered me right up.  I think I might just make it through the day....
