My Guy Don Gerard

My guy Don will be Mayor of Champaign.  I can't even tell you how happy and pleased and proud I am.  Watching the election results last night may have taken a few years off my life but with a little Lamaze breathing I got through it.  Hee-hee hoooooo....hee-hee hooooo.....  When the election was finally called in Don's favor we woke up a sleeping Owen, who had dozed off watching the returns with us, and he sleepily put his fist in the air!  And Leo had a big old sweet smile when I showed him the headline of the paper this morning.  We are a happy family today!

Congratulations to Don and Angie and everyone else who worked so hard on this campaign. And to his family, Will and Chloe and his mother Millie!
