Vacation continues.....

My fingers are a little sticky from the saltwater.  I just came up from the beach...it's raining but Debbie and Leo and Owen and I were in the water...it was delightful.  Nothing is better than ecstatic boys leaping in the surf and screaming with pleasure.

It was hard to leave Lubec but I love being here in southern Maine as well.  Lots of pictures on facebook but I'm too lazy to post here.  Tomorrow Ernie and I go off for a day of antiquing while Debbie and the boys hang out. 

What else?  Mmmmm....I don't know.  Maine makes me pretty damn happy.  Later in the week we'll visit my grandparents' graves and drive by their house....got a couple of other outings planned but not too much....not too much.

Ernie is FINALLY reading the Cheese Chronicles by Tommy Womack.  HIGHLY recommended reading before Tommy plays at our house in September.  Me?  I just read Killer Stuff and Tons of Money by Maureen Stanton.  Pretty interesting and/or depressing overall (given the trends of the antique business).  Now of course I want to know WHO Curt Avery really is!  Now I'll probably read one of my beloved regency period novels....  After all....as Leo said when I hesitated before eating something junky.....IT'S FREAKIN' VACATION MOM!
