Break Is Over....Looking Ahead....

When Ernie woke me this morning to get up and ready for work I just stared at him blearily, wondering why he was waking me in the middle of the night.  Honestly....my brain was whirring, thinking, "it's the middle of the night but he doesn't look worried so it can't be anything terrible---the boys must be o.k.....what could it be?"  Sigh.  Not that I get up all that early but it WAS dark and I've been enjoying waking up during daylight and having the ability to sigh and turn over happily if it was still dark when I opened my eyes.  Oh well.  It was a lovely break.

AND....this will be a short week as we start on Tuesday, next week will be a short week as we take Friday off for BrickFair: Lego Fan Festival and the following week will be a short week because of MLK's birthday.  That should help January speed by.

Speaking of Birmingham----well, we were actually, because that's where BrickFair is being held.  Anyone have any recommendations for things to do or see?  I have told Leo that we can spend one day at BrickFair but the other day we are doing OTHER stuff.....  Please let me know if you have suggestions.

And, on a unrelated note, don't you find it comforting that the word ICE is still shown with piles of frosty snow on its letters?
