Baby, Baby, Baby

This morning I sighed at something Ernie said and then I said, "Baby, baby, baby."  So he started singing the Vibrators.  Lord but I love him.

Turn this up really loud and listen to it.  It's Friday.

Ernie and the guys picked me up from work last night and we headed over to Krannert Center.  There was a short preview of the Spirit of Uganda show at 6:00.  Leo of course, was less than thrilled but stoic as always.  Owen bobbed about happily.  He asked if he could have a cookie from Intermezzo so I said sure, not realizing that it weighed about a pound.  Oh well.

I thanked the boys for coming.  Leo gave me one of those hooded eye looks and said, "well,  you forced us to Mom."  I agreed but said I was glad that he was gracious about it.  Spirit of Uganda was amazing!  Here's a bad iPhone picture from a bad angle.  I know, I know....

Driving home was probably the highlight of the day and now I can't even remember what we started laughing about...but Leo's helpless laughter with Owen's giggling had Ernie and me weak with pleasure.

A lovely day only topped off by watching Eric Brace and Peter Cooper on Stage It from Los Angeles last night.  With Jon Byrd as a guest no less.  Whether they win a Grammy or not I'm thrilled that they are out there---they looked happy and sounded even better.  I can not WAIT for March 2!
