Brownies and Robins and Bleariness

I'm wretchedly bleary today.  Why do we still use daylight savings?  Does this really make any sense?  Bleh.  We had a relatively unproductive weekend but it was damned nice.  A lot of time just listening to music, watching Leo and Ernie try to make each other laugh, letting Leo Minecraft away, looking at garden catalogues. I had to work for awhile yesterday but after that Ernie and I sat on the front steps and watched a robin hop around the yard.  We admired all the new growth in the garden and moved our little buddha so he could welcome people more easily.  I made a couple of dinners that were just kinda meh but o.k.  Leo made his famous brownies.  Amazing.  Now it's  Monday morning, the sky looks threatening and I have a ton of work to do.  Mostly, I want to just burrow back into bed.  I want to have a spring break damn it.

I think I posted this song the other day but it's stuck in my head and it's nice and meloncholy for a Monday morning.....
