That chick Julie...she's truly dazzling...

Good God I love the movie Valley Girl.  A couple of weeks ago Ernie and I curled up on a grey Friday afternoon after our lunch date and watched it.  We can recite almost all the lines by heart. For some reason last night the first Plimsouls scene was stuck in my head every time I woke up.

I remember the first time I saw it.  My friend Eileen was staying with me at my folks house---I think it was Christmas break...musta been around 83 as the movie was pretty new.  My parents had cable (!) and after they went to bed Eileen and I watched this movie and fell madly in love with it.  And when the walked into the club and my beloved Plimsouls were playing.....oh, oh, oh.....

There are many wonderful lines....

Favorite 80's movie?  No question.
