Sweet Peas and Ian Hunter

Owen called me shortly before I left work. He began anxiously asking me how my day had been...if I was still having computer problems, whether it had been terribly busy. I could tell he was angling after something and I couldn't decide what the best answer was. If it was another appeal to buy the expensive Batman cowl/mask then I figured I should go with bad day... He said, "are you feeling...what's that word?" I offered up 'frazzled' and he said "YES, that's it." I hedged my bets and told him I was moderately frazzled. He sighed and got very said. I asked him what the problem was and he said mournfully, "well, I guess you won't be up to making tacos then." "OH baby...of COURSE I'll make tacos...that's no problem" I assured him. There was utter joy in his voice when he assured me he would help. Indeed he did...grating cheese feverishly and doing a damn fine job of frying the taco shells.

I gotta say....they were the BEST tacos ever.

Could I ever have imagined in a million years how delightful it would be to make tacos with a ten year old while the almost thirteen year old reported on current minecraft events and the husband chopped onions and lettuce?

Sweet peas.

Leo asked me to print something out for him on the upstairs computer. He had to write about himself and it made me smile.

About Me:
My hobbies are Lego, Team Fortress 2, Minecraft, and Motorstorm; TF2,MC, and MS are games, 2 PC, and 1 PlayStation 3. I live with my Mom,Dad, Brother, and 3 cats. My birthday is October 1st,turning 13 this year.

My memories of being a math student are really just doing the problemsin these really cheap books, and the math was always so boring andbasic all the time; mostly in third grade to fifth.
Ifeel like this class will be more challenging, and I’ll learn more thanin Elementary, since it was almost always the same problems over andover again. I think I’ll bedoing more challenging, different, NEW math this year.

Sweet pea.

I just said to Ernie, "um....you love me, right?" And he sighed and said, "YES, I will call the fence place."

Sweet pea.

I've got the new Ian Hunter song stuck in my head. Some good comments on this as well....
