Lesson Learned--The Warmth of Friends and Food: Raising Money for American Lung Association

I know better...I mean I KNOW that instead of casting myself into the wilds of the mid-winter blahs....I should just belly up to the bar of friends and food and warmth. That's what we did last night and it was so, so, so wonderful. I want to say it was healing but I can't say that I had a wound to heal. But healing is the word that comes to mind anyway....hopefully you understand.

Incredible food....lamb dumplings, pickled vegetables and ramen to die for....mmmm.... Great company and it was for a great  cause...to raise money for American Lung Association. If you would like to add to our donation, which of course wasn't as large as we would have liked, you can go here. It is the 2013 Fight For Air Climb in Springfield on February 16th. We were supporting Team Hooey but of course no matter how you support it would be great.

Thanks to all involved that planned, cooked, cleaned and most importantly, INVITED US! I am blessed with dear friends. Thanks Sue, thanks Jill!

I stole a couple of your pictures Donna---hope that's o.k.
