Cleaning Marshmallow Tins

Yesterday Ernie cleaned all the marshmallow tins we have stacked on top of our kitchen cupboards. Things get so grimy....that sticky dustiness that you get in a kitchen.....  While doing it he looked at the contents of them and found all sorts of odds and ends.

First up....pictures from a weekend we visited my sister Judi in Pennsylvania. This would have been 1985-86. I was in grad school in Michigan and she was working on her Ph.D at Penn State. She had a terrible time finding a place to live when she moved there from Bloomington, Indiana and she ended up sharing a trailer with someone out in the country. I don't remember the story exactly but somebody that lived in a nearby trailer had a collection of stone animals in the front and Judi desperately wanted to rearrange them while they weren't home.

Well, who were we to say no to Judi. She could be VERY pursuasive.....
