Oh for a Gunne Sax Dress.....

Oh how I wanted a Gunne Sax dress in the mid-70's.

Sigh.

I never did get one. I think my friend Allyson Azzarello did...or was it Sheila Farrell? I swear somebody I was friends with at that point got one.

Today my friend Nancy brought this picture of her 1973 prom to work and it all came flooding back.

And seriously.....how incredible is this picture. Note the Funeral Home sign above their heads and the 57 Chevy in the driveway. Evidently it didn't have a radio in it so Nancy would have to bring her radio along with her when she drove it....changing it's direction whenver she made a turn so she could still get WLS you know.....
