Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1. One of my proudest moments on facebook. The sign up sheet for the line for tickets for the Ramones concert at the Auditorium on October 1, 1981. Wow...only 18 years later Leo would be born on that day.....and my handwriting hasn't changed that much, has it? Weird. Anyway....thanks to my beloved Pete Schleifer for being the archivest he is and for posting it. The best part....when I showed it to Owen and pointed out that I had listed Joey as my favorite Ramone...he was so proud of me..... I was #14 but I think Melissa Records in #5 actually bought our tickets for us and as I recall they were first row right in front of Johnny.

2. The Grammy's tend to make me crazy so I watched Downton Abbey....a decision I was quite happy with until I found out I missed my beloved Fats Kaplin. DAMN IT. I know I can watch it now but it's not the SAME!!

3.  Our friend Jim Bean with his handcarved walnut Grammy. I have no idea but I love it----it's beautiful.
