Random Notes from the Sandwich Life

1. I blushingly admit that after I'd gotten Owen bandaged up after his headlong trip through the window and I heard Ernie sweeping and vacuuming up all the shards of glass I said, "Oh damn....I should have taken a picture of the glass." Owen was appalled. He didn't seem too amused when I played him Nick Lowe's I Love the Sound of Breaking Glass. Hmph.

4. I love crocuses. The daffodils, daylilies and allium are all popping up. I haven't seen the bleeding heart yet....but the crocuses are waving madly.

5. By the way, Owen took FULL advantage of his window debacle...."do I have to take a shower tonight? You know I fell through the window...." "can we have pizza tonight for dinner? You know I fell through the window " etc., etc.... Is any one surprised?
