Random Notes from a Cortinsone-upped Cynthia

1. Nobody told me a cortisone shot could make you hyper. I'm not exactly Miss High Energy so perhaps I'm at a normal level now but geesh....I couldn't fall asleep last night. I finally googled side effects and sure enough people said it can be like being on speed for a day or two. I feel better today but yesterday I was SPACY yesterday.... I'm glad they told me not to go back to work. My back is sore from the shots a bit but my legs feel better so I am hopeful!

4. I take the same pictures of my love-in-a-mist every spring because they amaze me anew every time. We planted these seeds about 10 years ago and they just come back every spring...sometimes not where I want them but I can't deny them....

5. I drizzled some chive oil over a homemade pizza with arugula, italian sausage and cheese last night and it was delightful if I do say so myself. Thanks Ernie....he did everything from making the sourdough crust a week or so ago and then doing everything last night....

6. Leo's sick again damn it. Perhaps it's his wretched diet that makes him sick so often. hmph. Ernie is off as a chaperone on a fifth grade field trip to the Chanute Air Force Museum today. He's a better person than I!!!
