The Final Healing
This is just a brief post to assure you that I am still more or less alive. I'm feeling better...slowly but surely. I tried to go back to work on Friday but didn't last long. I even went back to the doctor but he assured me that it is indeed a virus and that I just need to be patient. So I am trying. I even drank coffeemilk for the first time this morning. My stomach is pretty much fine although I can't bring myself to drink wine....still lots of ginger ale and cold ginger tea. I'm just ridiculously tired. I didn't take a nap yesterday though so I am making progress!
Ernie and Owen are working on dismantling the Lego Room. I know...it's the end of an era. The boys decided they wanted their own rooms again and I can understand. My sweet peas are growing up. The Lego Room is being reinstalled in our basement. This should be interesting.
Other than that I have read an inordinate number of poorly written books, some free and some bought right from the New York Times best seller list. Geesh...I just don't know. I am actually ready to get back to work. I've barely stepped foot outside in a week and a half.
Luckily, The Jans Project will be here on Saturday to help me say goodbye to August which is fine by me....won't go down as one of my favorite months. I can't wait. They will oversee the final healing.....
Speaking of which, the lastest fine poster by my beloved Mark Gerking....
