Onward to Spring: Sola Gratia and Grace

A lovely Sola Gratia Open House last night....a great crowd and tons of wonderful food. How delightful. If you're interested (half and full shares are discounted through the month of March) you can get more info here. It felt really good to hear from the 'old school' that started this program (Pastor Bob and Tod Satterthwaite and Brian from Faith in Place) and then from the 'new school' (Farmer Clay Yapp and Program Coordinator Traci Barkley) who are going to take it even further. It's very exciting to me what they have accomplished thus far and what can happen in the future.

I didn't bring my camera because I knew Erich would be taking great pictures but I made Ernie take some phone pictures of Sue's beautiful appetizers nonetheless. I will NEVER have the patience to make things this beautiful!!

a little blurry but these were bacon wrapped butternut squash......good enough to make you feel blurry

And much love to Emily who was incredibly gracious when I mixed up who she was. I am TERRIBLE at recognizing people and I saw her and thought, "Oh, I know HER" and then I put her into my faulty classification system and thought, "o.k....sparkly eyes, who has sparkly eyes?" And then I picked the wrong sparkly eyed person and slowly faded into tongue tied sputtering. MAN that's an awful feeling. Thanks for being so kind Emily!!!! It WAS good to see you!!

I can't wait for Sola Gratia!
