Could not, could not, could not wake up this morning. I was thick in a dream that I didn’t want to leave. In my dream The Jans Project was playing and yet, as it is with dreams, they weren’t really The Jans Project. Interestingly, Stephanie and Debbie Stewart were also playing with them….topless. I was sitting in a theater with Steve Lindstrom. He didn’t know the band but he was raving about them. Then Nick came out to do the encore which, as he described it, was the only song he’d ever cashed in on. It turns out it was a Beach Boys-esque song about dogs and it ended up being used in a commercial for dog allergy medication on a website called pooch.com. He got $80,000 for it but had to split it with his Australian bandmates. Ernie finally showed up so I sat with him while we listened. And then Steve Lindstrom stiffed Ernie on the ticket Ernie had bought for Steve’s son who ended up not coming. I told Ernie to just let it go as it was only $10 and Steve was a good friend. He agreed so we got in our car and drove away.

I finally woke up and tried to get ready for work. As I was eating breakfast I picked my iPad and thought to myself, “oh yeah, I gotta look up pooch.com” but then I remembered it was a dream. I looked up pooch.com anyway. Turns out the domain is for sale Nick…..
