A Summer Sunday
Today was supposed to be my day to get things done. Bring Leo's print to be framed, clean, get school supplies, go shopping for clothes for the guys to wear at an upcoming wedding, etc.
Nothing.
The framing store was closed, and I decided that going shopping for school supplies on a Sunday sounded horrible, ditto with the clothes....and cleaning? Eh. Rascal likes to play with the dust bunnies.....why should I ruin that for him?
So instead, I have been reading Mad World: An Oral History of New Wave Artists and Songs That Defined the 1980s, looking up how to get rid of white moth caterpillars on my kale, and periodically fussing with putting up some fresh corn, tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers. The garden (and the farmers' market for the corn) doth provide....despite the damn caterpillars....
And in unrelated cat news, Bob has been seen ALMOST being playful with Rascal, and yet he seems to also be seeking new places to hide....
