Bright Spots

O.k. I am still alive. I was down with a cold for awhile but am feeling much better. Now, of course, life finds me trying to catch with things at work and the week almost over. Geesh! There are some bright spots though:

1. Ceal left me horseradish on my porch so we get to plant that.

2. We harvested all our Swiss chard, blanched it and froze it. On to the kale this evening.

3. We're going to see IAN HUNTER in all his glory this Friday.

4. Susan is staying with the guys so we can go. I love her.

5. My colleagues are covering for me on Saturday at work so we don't have to race back here and can have time to hang out with Van and Karin for a bit.

6. Oh, yeah, and we get to see Van and Karin and stay in the Van-and-Karin-Spa.

7. We get to hang out with our beloved Annette and Teri.

8. There are snow flurries outside.

9. Owen had a David Olney song going through his head today.
