Ronnie Gilbert RIP

I was so sad to hear of Ronnie Gilbert's death the other day. Well, sad I suppose I should not be, she was 88 and lived a long and full life from what I can see, but it made me wistful. I'm a big fan of hers...her spirit, her voice, her wit. If you have never watched the Weaver's Reunion video you are missing out. I adore it.... I loved watching it with my parents...we watched it together numerous times.

Lee Hayes died in 1981 (and his ashes went into his compost pile), Pete Seeger in 2014, and now Ronnie Gilbert. Only Fred Hellerman is left and is he is 88 as well.

The shift of time is an amazing thing.
