I haven't grown geraniums for years. I bought some this year though, because they remind me of my mother. I'd forgotten the way their leaves turn red.
Leo made a wonderful batch of pancakes last night. When Ernie was serving them however, he gave me this mutant one which was supposed to be something but didn't turn out. I told him it looked like a horseshoe crab. Huh. Thanks a lot.

Look what I trash picked from a neighbor's curb? Well, not really me, it actually took both Ernie and Owen to carry it....
Dinner the other night when I didn't feel like doing much. Grilled bacon, cheese and avocado on crusty seeded rye. Pretty delightful, and we cut up the rest of the rye and let it harden for this year's stuffing. It's waiting in the freezer.
I've been working a lot of late (have to work all day tomorrow too) but I really can't complain. Look what I get brought to my office on a day the students are learning Japanese sweetmaking!
O.k...onward to the weekend....hope it's a good one for everybody.
Oh, and one last note....Owen came home from work with the first Plimsouls album, and he loves it. And this morning? He told me his brain feels like a radio and he can just tune in to different stations for different songs. Then he walked away, pausing only to turn around and yell, "Don't TOUCH that dial!"
